How do I receive my font files after purchase?

After your payment is completed, you will get access to download your font files through the order page or thank you page. The download link is usually also sent to the email address you used during checkout.

If you have not received the download email, please check your spam, junk, promotion, or updates folder. If you still cannot find it, please contact us through our contact page and include your name, purchase email, and order number if available.

How do I use alternate characters, swashes, or glyphs?

To use alternate characters, swashes, or glyphs, you can use software that supports glyph access, such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Font Book on Mac, Character Map on Windows, or other applications that support OpenType features.

If the font product includes a PDF Character Preview, you can also open the PDF file and copy-paste the alternate characters into the text you want to edit.

Please note that not all software supports glyphs and alternate characters in the same way. Make sure the application you are using supports these features.

Can I use HansCo Studio fonts in Canva?

Yes. HansCo Studio fonts can be used in Canva if your Canva plan supports the font upload feature, which is usually available in Canva Pro or selected Canva plans with Brand Kit access.

You only need to upload the OTF or TTF file to Canva, and the font will appear in your font list.

Can I use the fonts for commercial projects?

Yes. HansCo Studio fonts can be used for commercial projects according to the license you purchase. Commercial usage may include logos, branding, packaging, merchandise design, posters, social media graphics, digital products, and other design projects.

However, each license may have different usage limits. Please read the license details carefully before using the font for large-scale commercial projects.

Can I use the fonts for a logo?

Yes. You can use the fonts to create logos according to the applicable license terms. You may also convert the text into outlines or vector shapes for logo design purposes.

However, you are not allowed to resell the original font files, share the font files with others, or claim the font as your own font creation.

I create designs for clients. Can I give the font files to my client?

No. You are not allowed to share the original font files with your client, third parties, agencies, vendors, or anyone who does not own a separate license.

If your client needs the font files to edit the design in the future, they must purchase their own font license.

You may provide your client with final design files, such as JPG, PNG, PDF, outlined SVG, outlined EPS, or design files where the text has been converted to outlines or rasterized, as long as the original font files are not included.

Can I use the fonts for products that I sell?

Yes. You can use the fonts to create physical or digital products for sale, such as t-shirts, mugs, stickers, posters, templates, labels, packaging, invitations, and other creative products, as long as the usage follows the license you purchased.

If your usage is large-scale, company-based, related to apps, games, mass merchandise production, or wide distribution, please contact us to confirm the most suitable license.

Can I include the font files in templates that I sell?

No. You are not allowed to include OTF, TTF, WOFF, WOFF2, or any original font files inside templates that you sell or distribute.

However, you may use the font to create template designs if the text has been converted into outlines, rasterized, or turned into a graphic format that does not allow buyers to extract or use the original font file.

If your template buyers need the font, please direct them to purchase or download the font directly from HansCo Studio.

Can I share the font files with friends or upload them to my blog?

No. You are not allowed to share, upload, send, resell, or distribute HansCo Studio font files through websites, blogs, marketplaces, forums, social media, public cloud storage, or any other platform.

If you would like to recommend our fonts, please share the official HansCo Studio product link instead.

Can I resell HansCo Studio fonts?

No. You are not allowed to resell, rename, repackage, redistribute, or claim HansCo Studio fonts as your own font products.

All copyrights and ownership of the fonts remain with HansCo Studio.

Can I embed the fonts on a website?

Using fonts on a website or embedding fonts requires a webfont license or a license that clearly allows this type of usage.

Using the font to create images, logos, banners, or outlined SVG graphics is different from embedding the font. However, if the font is installed directly on a website so live text can be displayed with that font, you need the proper webfont license.

Can I request a refund after purchasing a font?

Because fonts are digital products, purchases that have been completed and accessed are usually non-refundable.

However, if you experience a technical issue such as a corrupted file, download link error, or a file that does not match the product description, please contact us. We will review the issue and help provide the best possible solution.

I purchased a font from another marketplace, then found it free or discounted somewhere else. Can I request a refund?

No. Price differences, promotions, discounts, or product status changes on other platforms are not valid reasons for refunding a completed purchase.

Prices and promotions may vary depending on the marketplace or promotional period.

Why does the font not appear after installation?

If the font does not appear after installation, please try the following steps:

  1. Close the application you are using.
  2. Reopen the application.
  3. Make sure the font file has been properly installed.
  4. Restart your computer.
  5. Make sure you are selecting the correct font name from the font list.
  6. If the font includes multiple styles, make sure you are selecting the correct style.

Some applications need to be restarted before newly installed fonts appear in the font list.

Why do I see the error “Sorry, This File Type Is Not Permitted for Security Reasons” when uploading a font to WordPress?

This error usually appears because WordPress blocks certain file types by default, including OTF, TTF, WOFF, or WOFF2 files, for security reasons.

This does not mean the font file is broken. You may need to adjust your WordPress upload permissions, use a plugin that supports font uploads, or upload the font through a theme or page builder feature that supports custom fonts.

If you are not sure how to do this, we recommend asking your website developer for assistance.

Can I use the fonts for apps, games, films, YouTube, TV, or large merchandise projects?

Usage for apps, games, films, TV, YouTube series, large merchandise projects, or company-level projects may require a higher license or a custom license.

Please contact us and explain your project details, including the type of usage, platform, number of users, distribution, and commercial scale. We will help you choose the correct license.

How can I contact HansCo Studio for license questions?

You can contact us through the contact page on the HansCo Studio website. Please explain the font name, project type, usage platform, and whether the project is personal, commercial, company-based, app-related, game-related, merchandise-related, or for larger media usage.

The more complete your information is, the easier it will be for us to recommend the right license.
